The objective of Tranca is focused on accumulating as many points as possible. Players must create sets of 7 cards or more, known as clean canastas (devoid of jokers) or dirty canastas (comprising a wild card, the 2's, as Jokers are not utilized in this game).

- Ending the game grants 100 points.
- Each card holds a value of 10 points.
- Red-colored 3's, forming part of a canasta, equate to 100 points.
- Red-colored 3's without a canasta lead to a deduction of -100 points.
- Every dirty canasta equals 100 points.
- Each clean canasta awards 200 points.
